Bryce Austin started his technology career at 6 years old on a Commodore 64 computer and a cassette tape drive. Today he is a leading voice on technology and cybersecurity.
With over 20 years as a technology leader, Bryce advises the boards of companies in a diverse array of industries. He was the CIO and CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) of Wells Fargo Business Payroll Services, and a Senior Group Manager at Target Corporation. Bryce has served as the Chief Information Security Officer, for many companies, ranging in size from 50 employees to companies on the S&P 500. His best-selling book is titled Secure Enough? 20 Questions on Cybersecurity for Business Owners and Executives, which is designed to teach you the minimum that you need to do to keep your cybersecurity risk at a level where you can sleep at night.
Bryce has over a decade of hands-on cybersecurity crisis experience, starting with Target’s notable 2013/2014 cyber breach. He founded a company called TCE Strategy, which stands for Technology and Cybersecurity Education. TCE Strategy provide cybersecurity advisory services, including vulnerability scans, penetration tests, incident response plans, and breach remediation services. The #1 goal of his presentation is for you to learn how to bring your cybersecurity risk to a level that is Secure Enough for you and your organization.
In his free time, Bryce is a racecar driver and instructor. He has driven cars from a 65 horsepower Mini Cooper to a 650 horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo. With over 100 students trained safely.
