Chris Zweigenthal joined USBI as the Regional Director for the USA Eastern Seaboard region.
Chris built a phenomenally strong career within the aviation industry holding executive positions at South African Airways and as CEO of the Airlines Association of Southern Africa. His critical role was to navigate the relationship between Government, public and private stakeholders and to facilitate and reach solutions within the challenging regulatory and business environment.
He has brought this passion and commitment to USBI and has the goal of building successful partnerships between USBI, its customers and speakers to deliver impactful, value-added insights and solutions for customers.
As one who has run his own conferences in the past and participated and spoken at many conferences, he understands the industry and has an appreciation of the imperative to engage the right speaker to deliver on the client’s brief.
Chris left AASA at the end of August 2021 and relocated with his wife Lee-Ann to Albany, NY, USA in September 2021 to be with family.
His work in the aviation industry enabled Chris to develop working relationships with Ministerial and senior Government officials in aviation, transport, tourism and associated fields, industry stakeholders and associations and many business organizations, both locally and internationally.
