Dr. Hein was born in 1974, grew up in the scenic landscape of Hessen in Germany, and relocated to Hamburg in 1995. Once settled, she trained in musical theater, later studying phonetics and pedagogy, which led her into a teaching career. She began by coaching aspiring actors on their journey to the stage and screen and later worked with professionals across various fields, including leadership, customer service, and sales. In 2010, she completed her doctoral dissertation and returned to her first love: the stage.

Today, Dr. Monika Hein is an international professional keynote speaker (TEDx, Greator), author, and coach for personal presence. She speaks in the context of personal growth, motivation and her passion: female empowerment. Her latest book, Speak up and Shine, was written driven by her vision of gender equality, empowering women to use their voices in a strong and confident way.
