I.K is a human rights lawyer with a passion for human development at the individual and system levels. She began her career at the Federal Department of Justice, Canada and was appointed to serve as the first United Nations Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism in 2015.
I.K.has amassed over a decade of experience in the practice of human rights, advocacy for persons with disabilities, and leadership coaching. She has spoken extensively on these topics in key organizations including the African Union, the European Union, national parliaments, universities and corporations across the world. In the midst of making change, I.K. loves to observe nature as an avid photographer.
