In 2015, she served as Vice President for Young Vision Africa, encouraging young leaders in Sierra Leone to make lasting changes in their country.
In August 2016, Michelle left Young Vision Africa to focus on ending domestic violence, driven by her own harrowing experience in an abusive relationship. Over three years, she endured physical, sexual,emotional, and financial abuse, which she later channeled into a critically acclaimed play, But I Love Him. Debuting at The White Fire Solo Fest in February 2016, the play received commendations and was also featured in the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
