Peter Ivanov is an award-winning manager, bestselling author, and expert in AI and leadership with over 30 years of international experience. As an inspirational speaker, Peter has delivered keynotes in 29countries around the globe. His book “Virtual Power Teams” has been translated into six languages and reached Amazon’s Top3 in the International Management category.
Born in Bulgaria, Peter graduated in Mathematics and joined a multinational company as a Data Analyst. He gradually worked his way up to become IT Services Manager for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Recognizing the growing importance of teams in multiple locations, Peter developed an innovative method for leading virtual teams.
In 2007, the team led by Peter won the “Best of the Best” award for outstanding project management in establishing global shared services. In 2012, his team won the “Global IT Connect Award” for excellent engagement in a global cross-functional environment. In2013, Peter founded “Virtual Power Teams” and began a new career as a keynote speaker and executive coach on new leadership.
In 2023, Peter completed the MIT program “AI for Business Strategy” and has since supported numerous business organizations and public administrations in embracing the AI revolution and unleashing unprecedented value.
When he’s not speaking on a stage around the world, Peter loves to throw his javelin, or take part in athletic competitions. Peter is a World Senior Champion in discus throwing, and actively supports young talent.
The father of 5 daughters, he admits he has failed in gender diversity at home, but is a passionate advocate of diversity in the business world.
